Catalina leads Vellora Living as managing editor and editor-in-chief. She sets the magazine's editorial direction, shapes the coverage plan across all five desks and works with every writer to make sure each story is useful, accurate and worth a reader's time. Her guiding question for every piece is simple: will this help someone live a little better?
Marcus Chen
Senior Technology Editor
Marcus has spent more than twelve years reviewing consumer technology, from the first touchscreen phones to laptops that run AI on the device. He leads Vellora's technology desk and its testing program, and he cares less about spec sheets than about what a product actually changes in your day. If a gadget can't explain why it deserves space on your desk, Marcus will say so.
Elena Rossi
Home Editor
Elena writes about the rooms we use every day, especially kitchens, storage and the small renovations that make a home work better. She studied interior architecture in Milan and has renovated three homes of her own, so her advice comes from mistakes she has already made. Her rule: good design should make daily life easier, not more complicated.
Sophie Laurent
Design & Garden Editor
Sophie moves between interiors and the garden with the same curiosity. A qualified garden designer and former interiors stylist, she writes about natural materials, climate-smart planting and houseplants that actually survive. She likes spaces that look lived in rather than staged.
Priya Raman

Priya has reviewed films, series and games for over a decade. She leads Vellora's entertainment coverage and the critics' panel behind our seasonal rankings, and she is happiest when she can point readers to something brilliant they would otherwise have missed.
Nick Polishchuk
Editor
Nick brings a builder's eye to Vellora's design and home coverage. He studied architectural design, construction pricing and contract law at George Brown College, and before turning to writing he served in the Royal Canadian Navy, with deployments that took him to Asia and the Arctic. Today he lives in British Columbia and keeps close ties to Cambodia, where he once volunteered as an English teacher and met his wife.
Baber Siddiqui

Baber has spent almost a decade in digital publishing and has a soft spot for ideas that are easy to scroll past: clever design, smart home decor and DIY projects worth a second look. He is also an entrepreneur who has built several websites from scratch, one of which he sold in 2021, so he knows how much work a good idea takes to grow. Away from the desk he travels, explores new places and reads about business and investing. The topics change; his curiosity doesn't.
Diego Villena

Diego is a collector of curious facts and the editor who keeps a team of contributors pointing in the same direction. Outside work he is building a book collection, using and building astronomical telescopes, tackling DIY projects, arguing the rules of board games and playing guitar on the porch. Born in Madrid but at home in the American South, he loves debating ideas, marvelling at science and technology, and hunting for products built to last a lifetime.

Kathryn is a freelance writer and editor who, when she isn't writing about life's finer things, works as a special education paraprofessional. A background in classical studies gives her copy a distinctive, carefully crafted voice. In her free time she keeps up with the latest trends and scares herself with true-crime podcasts.

She moved to Bali, Indonesia, finally adopted not one but two Dachshund puppies, and switched careers to follow her passion for writing. Honor is a copywriter with a lifelong fascination with the cosmos. For Honor, astrology is a mirror that offers a deeper look at who we are. She is completing a Master's in Creative Writing and Publishing at the University of Melbourne.
