A second suspect has been arrested in murder of rapper XXXTentacion.
Michael Boatwright, 22, was arrested last week on unrelated drug charges, but then on Tuesday (July 10), detectives served him with an arrest warrant for first-degree murder while he was in BSO Main Jail, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday.
Last month, detectives collared 22-year-old Dedrick Devonshay Williams on first-degree murder charges without premeditation. Willams was on probation for grand theft auto at the time of arrest and was also booked for violating probation and driving without a valid license.
A search for a person of interest named Robert Allen remains ongoing. Investigators reportedly want to question Allen about what he knows regarding the murder.
