Kanye West’s Yeezy Model Shannade Clermont Charged with Stealing Dead Man’s Identity

Shannade Clermont, a former reality star and Yeezy model, was arrested on Wednesday (July 11) on charges alleging she stole debit card information from a man who died shortly after a “prostitution date” with her.

The 24-year-old was released on $100,000 bail after she was charged with wire fraud, access device fraud, and aggravated identity theft. She was apprehended at New York’s LaGuardia Airport after she arrived on a flight.

Prosecutors said she utilized the man’s debit card to make $20,000 in fraudulent purchases in the months after he died from a drug overdose. The money was reportedly spent on carrier ticks, designer brand clothes, and mobile phone payments.

Investigators were told by a doorman that Clermont said her name was “Audrey,” and she was seen with the victim hours before he was discovered dead. It’s unclear if she knew the victim was dead before she allegedly took the credit card information.

Clermont and her twin sister, Shannon, were both featured models during Kanye’s Yeezy season 6 campaign, and part of the group dressed up in outfits to resemble Kim Kardashian.
