Ohio Boy’s Lawn Service Gets Major Boost After Neighbor Calls Cops on Him for Cutting Grass

An Ohio boy and his team of landscapers were mowing a lawn when a nearby neighbor called police on them—and now they’re getting more business than ever.

Reginald Fields is the 12-year-old owner of Mr. Reggie’s Lawn Cutting Service, WEWS reported. With help from his cousins, brothers, and sisters, he’s been cleaning up yards in his Maple Heights neighborhood every single day. As matter of fact, that’s exactly what he and his team were doing when a perturbed neighbor called the police on them.

“They said I was cutting their grass. I didn’t know it!” Reggie said.

His customer, Lucille Holt, said she was confused when she saw the police cruiser parked outside her home, but soon realized the person next door called to complain the kids were cutting a small patch of grass in their yard where the two properties meet.

Reggie said he never spoke with the police, nor did anyone from his team, but he couldn’t help but feel a bit discouraged.

That’s why Holt created a Facebook post about the incident, including a video which has now been viewed more than 350,000 times. Now, Reggie is getting a lot of support for his business from those who want to make sure he’s never discouraged again.

“People are inboxing me like, ‘how can I get in touch with this children? Where are they at? I got property I want these kids to cut,'” Holt said.

Reggie is reportedly trying to save up money for new equipment to grow his business.

“Just give me a call,” the 12-year-old said. “I’ll be there on time.”
