Young Dolph has shared the video for single “Slave Owner,” in which he sends a message to how record labels often take advantage of new talent.
The video is set on Liberty Land Records Plantation. When Dolph arrives he encounters a white man, presumably the plantation owner, and a black man who resembles Samuel Jackson’s character Stephen from Django Unchained.
The timing for releasing the new video seems suspect giving as to how it comes right after Kanye West’s infamous TMZ rant about slavery, but Dolph’s camp insists that it’s only a coincidence and the release has been planned for months.
