After being diagnosed with kidney failure in 2015, it appears Freeway is still in searching for a kidney transplant partner to save his life.
On Wednesday (May 2), the Philly rapper gave fans an update on his health from Johns Hopkins Hospital.
“They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for. Feeling Hopeful! At #jhonhopkins talking New Kidney shoot a prayer up for ya boy,” he captioned.
Freeway, 39, later shared a photo with the doctor he’s working with towards the transplant. He classified his doc as “one of the best transplant surgeons in the world” and says he’ll be featured in his Think Free documentary.
According to Revolt, the upcoming doc will showcase Freeway’s trek toward a healthy lifestyle while becoming an ambassador for the National Kidney Foundation in the process.
In 2017, Freeway signed a deal to reunite with Jay Z at Roc Nation. He will release his sixth studio LP, titled Think Free, on June 8.
