A mother in Arizona found herself in hot water for a very bizarre way of waking her son for Easter church service.
Police say Sharron Dobbins, 40, used a stun gun to tase her teenage son on the leg in order to wake him for Sunday service.
“I said, ‘Get up! It’s Jesus’ Day!,” Dobbins told KNXV.
She admits to holding a taser but insists she only flashed its lights and made it spark in order to warn the 16-year-old.
“I made the noise with the Taser, but I did not tase my son.”
The teenager reportedly told officers that Dobbins used the taser, but he did not want to testify against her. According to KNXV, the teen did not complain of any pain but had two bumps on his leg where the taser was used.
Dobbins was arrested on suspicion of child abuse with intent to cause harm. She has since been released from jail.
