Watch Nas Perform ‘Illmatic’ Live With An Orchestra At The Kennedy Center

Nas recently put a new spin on his 25-year-old critically-acclaimed album Illmatic. The Queens MC was featured on PBS’ Great Performances series where he performed the 1994 classic with help from the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The concert aired last night but for those of you who missed it, we got you covered. Take a look below.

“I worked on my thing. I worked on my craft and I stuck to it,” Nas says in the preview of the performance. “I hope that you can look through the dream with me and see the journey I took to be on this stage with an orchestra.”

In other related news, it was announced that Nas would be joining Logic and 2 Chainz in Netflix’s upcoming documentary Rapture.
