After weeks of back and fourths with several different L.A. gang sets, New York rapper Tekashi69 found himself involved in a huge brawl at LAX. In a video obtained by TMZ, an unidentified man approaches the 21-year-old rapper and confronts several members of his crew. Tekashi was then urged to walk away, and when he did, all hell broke loose.
It appears one of the men from Tekashi’s camp threw the first punch before more people from both sides jumped in. Tekashi eventually comes to the aide of his homeboys as the fight moves into the middle of traffic. He is then punched several times and thrown to the ground. According to TMZ, police raced to the scene and interviewed people from both sides, but no arrest were made.
The incident follows several videos made from rappers on the West Coast warning Tekashai to not come to L.A over his past sexual misconduct with a child conviction. The gang members say he has a negative influence on young hip-hop fans.
