Although the TV adaptation of Rush Hour didn’t last one season, the franchise is returning the silver screen with original stars, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
Speaking with ESPN’s The Plug podcast, Tucker confirmed the sequel saying, “We’re working on it right now.” Tucker doesn’t say much else but he did imply that “This is gonna be the rush of all rushes.”

Last year, Chan also revealed that he and Tucker had agreed to a particular idea for the fourth entry.
“For the last seven years, we’ve been turning down the script, turning down the script. Yesterday, we just agreed,” he said during an appearance on Power 106’s The Cruz Show last year.
