Scarface has never been afraid to speak his mind on social issues. On Friday (Dec. 1), the Houston-based rap legend released a new video for his politically charged anthem “Black Still.” The song pays homage to Public Enemy’s “Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos” and addresses several societal ills, namely racism.
The video, directed by Dr. Teeth, features archival footage from the civil rights movement and several protests of today. Check it out above.
Face also shared another record titled “Same Ol Same,” which finds the rapper reflecting on life in the streets.
Both tracks will be featured on Face’s upcoming album Deeply Rooted: The Lost Files. Click here to pre-order your copy now.
