Will And Jada Pinkett-Smith Reportedly Did Not Give Tyrese $5 Million In Legal Support

Tyrese has been all over social media as of late and many are concerned about the singer/actor’s well-being—including Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith.

The Fast and Furious star has been embroiled in an ugly custody battle with his ex-wife Norma Gibson over their 10-year-old daughter in the past few weeks. Gibson accused Tyrese of beating their daughter and was granted a temporary restraining order, citing concerns about his mental health. The investigation into Gibson’s accusations was later dismissed and Tyrese was granted supervised visitation.

However, he claimed to have racked up legal fees that became too much to bear, so he was giving a loan by Will and Jada-Pinkett Smith under one condition—stay off social media.

“When we show UP for each other, there’s nothing that can’t be done! …Jada Pinkett-Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million to help keep us afloat,” Tyrese said in a now-deleted Instagram post. “You guys asked [me] to get off and stay off the internet now that my daughter’s legal fees will be paid!

According to TMZ, a source close to the Smith family said Tyrese wasn’t given a dime and they are concerned about his well being.

Tyrese has been friends with Will and Jada for years, so when he broke the news about the family offering assistance it really didn’t come as a shocker.
