Jay-Z Stops Live Concert To Speak On Meek Mill’s Prison Sentence

In the last couple of days, Meek Mill has received an unwavering amount of support following his prison sentence for probation violation. Jay-Z, 50 Cent and several others have taken to social media to question the outcome of Meek’s case since he was sentenced to serve 2 to 4 years over charges that were eventually dropped.

Last night, during a live performance in Dallas, Jay-Z paused his the show to speak about Meek, saying:

“I gotta say something about a young man by the name of Meek Mill. He caught a charge when he was, like, 19. He’s 30 now. He’s been on probation for 11 years. F*cking 11 years. Probation for 11 years. Judge gave him two to four years because he got arrested for being on a bike and popping a f*cking wheelie.”

Hov previously the called the sentence “unjust and heavy-handed” in a statement posted to his Facebook page.
