The U.S. government’s apathy to the plight of those suffering in Puerto Rico following the aftermath of Hurricane Maria has pissed many people off, including R&B singer Chris Brown.
Brown took to Instagram on Sunday (Nov. 26) to share a photo that reads “Puerto Rico has been without power for 68 days” with the caption:
“WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK????? THESE POLITICIANS SHOW UP FOR WORK EVERY FUCKING DAY IN NICE CARS, CLOTHES, ETC,” he writes. “THIS BITCHASS GOVERNMENT MAY NOT ANSWER FOR THEIR BULLSHIT TODAY BUT GOD KNOWS AND SEES ALL.”
WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK????? THESE POLITICIANS SHOW UP FOR WORK EVERY FUCKING DAY IN NICE CARS, CLOTHES, ETC…. THIS BITCHASS GOVERNMENT MAY NOT ANSWER FOR THIER BULLSHIT TODAY BUT GOD KNOWS AND SEES ALL. AMERICA IS WORRIED ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSES PROBLEMS BUT CANT FIX OUR OWN ISSUES THAT IS LITERALLY LIFE OR DEATH. FUCKING SAD AND SICKENING. ILL CONTINUE TO DO MY BEST WITH WHAT I CAN HELP WITH. YOU SHOULD START…. NOW! 🇵🇷
After calling out politicians Brown vowed, “to continue to do my best with what I can help with.” The Heartbreak on a Full Moon singer also encouraged fans to do start aiding Puerto Rico as well.
Since Hurricane Maria struck the island on Sept. 20 power has been wiped out across the country. The value of crops has dropped to 80% and fresh drinking water has also become scarce.
