Suge Knight’s girlfriend Toilin Kelly was sentenced for her role in arranging the sale of his fatal hit-and-run video.
Kelly pleaded no contest to a count of conspiracy to violate a court order on Thursday (Oct. 12). A Los Angeles judge sentenced her to 100 hours of community service.
She was also ordered to pay $55,000 thousand dollars in restitution to a hamburger stand in Compton that provided surveillance video of Knight hitting two men with his truck two years ago.
Kelly and her business partner Mark Blankenship were accused of arranging the sale of the video to TMZ for $55,000, the Los Angeles Times reports.
Knight, 52, is currently awaiting trial for the murder of Terry Carter. He has pleaded not guilty to the murder charge and says he acted in self-defense. In another case, Knight is also accused of robbery and threatening film director F. Gary Gray.
