Trae the Truth and Chamillionaire Bring Food And Water to Texas Inmates Affected by Hurricane Harvey

Trae the Truth is putting on for his city in a major way during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.

The Houston rapper has rescued people from the flood waters, and has spent the last week delivering supplies to those in need. Now that the storm is over, there’s still an unfathomable amount of recovery work to be done.

According to XXL, Trae got a call that inmates at East Houston’s Jefferson County Prison didn’t have food or water. So, he and fellow Houston rapper Chamillionaire brought food and water to the jail. Not only did he bring long term supplies, there’s also video of him carrying in hundreds of pizzas for the inmates.

“They gave me their word, I’m finna go double check to make sure y’all eating the pizza man,” Trae says to one of the inmates while stacking piles upon piles of pizza boxes inside the jail. Check out the video below.

Trae the Truth has his own Hurricane Harvey GoFundMe page, which can be donated to here.
