Lonzo Ball: ‘Nobody Listens to Nas Anymore…Real Hip-Hop is Migos and Future’

While LaVar Ball is usually the source of controversy in the Ball family, his son, Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, recently stirred the pot with comments he made about “real hip-hop” in the premiere episode of the family’s new Facebook series Ball In The Family.

During a trip to New York, someone off-camera says they’re going to get Lonzo to listen to some “real hip-hop,” to which he replies “That’s not gonna happen.” Then he piles on, saying “Y’all outdated man. Don’t nobody listens to Nas no more….Real hip-hop is Migos and Future.”

Earlier this year the 19-year old point guard was roasted on twitter after he listed his Top-5 rappers of all time, which included Future, DMX, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, and Tupac.

Ball In The Family will release every Thursday on Facebook for 10 episodes total and promises to give us a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the family’s Big Baller Brand, as well as the home life that LaVar has created for his wife and three sons, and more of their scorching hot takes.
