After developing $495 shoes for his son Lonzo Ball as part of the Big Baller Brand, LaVar Ball now says that he’s planning to release his own shoe and sell it for triple the price.
In a video posted on his Facebook page, LaVar revealed that is shoe will be called “The LaVar-iccis” and told fans to save their money because they will be “$1,500 or more.”
“Make sure you save your money because they’re gonna be $1,500 or more. Cause I’m gonna design it and they gonna be flyyy. My bad, they gonna be baller-ized!”
Earlier this year, the Big Baller Brand released the ZO2’s for $495 each, which reportedly sold about 500 pairs in the first week, per Nathan Fenno of the Los Angeles Times. The family followed it up with the Melo Ball 1’s for $395, named for the youngest player in the family, 16-year-old LaMelo.
