Trae the Truth is doing everything in his power to help his hometown Houston following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. The rapper has been at ground zero since day one helping victims get to safety, and now he’s receiving help from Atlanta’s own Young Jeezy.
According to XXL, the Snowman and his purified water company Defiance Fuel teamed up with Trae to send over two truckloads carrying 50,000 bottles of water to the American Red Cross after the organization made an emergency call for more drinking water.
Trae, alongside Congresswoman Sheila Jackson, distributed the water to local residents in need.
Jeezy released the following statement in regards to the donation:
“I am praying for all those affected by the storm. Houston is one of my favorite cities and I will help those in need however I can at this time.”
Jeezy is just one of many celebs who have stepped up to help those affected by Harvey. Drake, Beyoncé, Master P, Kevin Hart, and several others have also made contributions.
