Adrien Broner took to social media to issue a public plea for help just days after he was filmed shoving a woman and knocking a man out cold in Las Vegas. In a series of Instagram posts, the 28-year-old boxer pleads for help, writing, “I know I got problems”…”I just need some help.”
The messages Broner shared are similar to posts he made last year when he hinted that he was contemplating suicide. Over the last couple of years, AB’s close friend Floyd Mayweather has acted as a mentor and even took him into his home when he was in dire need of assistance, much like he is right now.
Broner has been in trouble with the law on many occasions as he continues to struggle with his status in the public eye as a professional boxer. Last October, he was charged with misdemeanor battery for choking a waitress at Drai’s Nightclub in Las Vegas, and he was also arrested earlier this year stemming from a warrant for his arrest as a result of a crazy incident in which his vehicle was shot at several times.
Broner has also faced previous robbery charges and was arrested for allegedly beating up a guy at a bowling alley in early 2016.
The four-time champion lost to Mikey Garcia recently and is currently in a transitional period of his career.
