Winnie, who is 5ft 9in, was diagnosed with vitiligo around the age of four, making her among one per cent of the population who has the condition. In an with Cosmopolitan magazine, she revealed: ‘Kids called me a cow and mooed at me. I remember sitting by my window wishing upon the stars that my skin condition would go away.’
Winnie was physically taunted later in life and reveals that a group of girls ‘jumped her’ in a fight, which led to her being suspended because she started skipping class. She dropped out of school at the age of 17 and never looked back.
