Suge Knight Indicted for Sending Death Threats to ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Director F. Gary Gray

Suge Knight, who is currently in jail after pleading not guilty to a 2015 murder, has been indicted for allegedly threatening the life of “Straight Outta Compton” director F. Gary Gray via text, according to TMZ.

Gray, who also directed “Be Cool,” “The Italian Job” and “The Fate of the Furious,” was photographed talking to police officers after the alleged threat. The incident happened just months before the Suge allegedly ran over and killed Terry Carter in a burger stand parking lot on Jan. 29, 2015.

Suge, who created Death Row Records with Dr. Dre after quitting NWA, was reported to be unhappy with his depiction in “Straight Outta Compton.”

“On or about August 8, 2014, Suge…threatened to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to Felix Gary Gray,” reads the Grand Jury indictment, acquired by TMZ.

Suge is scheduled to be arraigned on the indictment Thursday (Aug. 3). The 52-year-old currently awaits a January trial for Carter’s murder.
