An Amber Alert issued for a 2-year-old Detroit girl who was taken at gunpoint from her aunt’s home early Tuesday morning has been cancelled.
Police said Grady Lamar Barrett, 42, abducted his girlfriend’s daughter, then left in a pickup. An Amber Alert was issued and police eventually caught up with Barrett but not before he engaged in a high-speed chase and flipped his truck over with the girl inside.
Barrett was taken into custody, FOX2 tweeted.
