Months after exiting the Today show, Tamron Hall is set to make her television return with a daily syndicated talk show, the Weinstein Company announced on Wednesday.
Hall will serve as executive producer on the yet-to-be-titled show, and will also work with the Weinstein Company on additional non-scripted television projects, reports Entertainment Weekly.
“I’ve been working towards developing a talk show for a long time, but needed to make sure I did it the right way and with the right person to take the lead,” Weinstein Company chairman Harvey Weinstein said in a statement. “Tamron is far and away that person. She’s an exceptionally talented journalist whose interviews masterfully walk the line between entertainment and hard hitting. We couldn’t be more thrilled to begin this new venture with her.”
The 46-year old journalist took to Twitter to confirm the news, writing, “When the right call comes #grateful.”
