R. Kelly’s Alleged Captive Speaks Out, Denies Kidnapping Claims

The woman whose family claims is one of many held captive and forced into a “sex cult” by singer R. Kelly has spoken out.

Joycelyn Savage, 21, told TMZ on Monday that she’s happy and doing great despite her family holding a news conference accusing R. Kelly of making her and other women his sex slaves. Savage says she still receive text messages from her parents but has a reason for cutting off communication with them. She didn’t go into much detail about her whereabouts or her relationship with Kelly, who denied the accusations earlier today. Kelly is also reportedly considering taking legal action.

Savage’s father, Timothy, believes his daughter is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.
