50 Cent Announces New Album, Says It Won’t Be as Smart as Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’

50 Cent has announced that his long-awaited Street King Immortal album could be released in the fourth quarter of 2017. The Queens veteran revealed the news during a recent appearance on Access Hollywood Live where he also talked about his wildly successful show, Power.

“I have a album I been waiting to put out,” said Fif. “It’s coming out at the end of the year. It won’t be as smart as the JAY-Z record. I want to make music that people can have fun to, so you don’t have to stop. You get it immediately without having to sit and analyze it.”

Fif’s mention of Jay-Z’s 4:44 album was in reference to his critique in which he said the LP was “golf course music.” Despite his opinion, Hov’s album went certified platinum in less than a week.
