Charlamagne tha God on Pepsi’s Protest Commercial: ‘It’s Extremely Tone-Deaf’

Charlamagne the God called Pepsi’s latest commercial starring Kendall Jenner extremely tone-deaf. The Breakfast Club host said he believes Pepsi should’ve had somebody of the culture in their board room to tell that it wasn’t a good idea.

“We see all these protests out here about police brutality and we see people get beat up at these protests, in some cases, people get killed at these protests and it’s gonna take more than a Pepsi to ease tension between civilians and police officers.”

Charlamagne said he doesn’t really blame Kendall for her involvement since the Kardashian family doesn’t seem to have a lot of values and integrity. But believes someone should have advised her better.

Social media users echoed similar sentiments comparing the image of Jenner handing a Pepsi can to a police officer to Ieshia Evans photo from last year’s protest against police brutality in Baton Rouge, LA.
