Beyoncè Eyed to Voice Nala in ‘Lion King’ Remake

Director Jon Favreau (The Jungle Book) is reportedly eyeing Beyoncè to voice Nala in Disney’s Lion King remake.

According to Variety, the singer hasn’t agreed to the role yet because she’s currently pregnant with twins, however, the studio is planning to do whatever it takes to accommodate her schedule since it’s a voice-acting role.

Atlanta star Donald Glover is on board to voice Simba and the iconic actor James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Simba’s father, Mufasa.

“Lion King” was originally released in 1994 and is one of the highest-grossing animated films of all time, earning $968.5 million worldwide.
