Marvel Cinematic Universe partnership with Netflix has proven to be quite fascinating. The successful release of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage has left fans craving for more.
While at LA Comic-Con over the weekend, Luke Cage director Mike Colter teased a possible Heroes for Hire team up to fans, saying, “Finn Jones I was just hanging out with him yesterday. So [I’m] going back to New York, start filming… We’re getting ready to do ‘Heroes for Hire’ eventually, come on.”
In Marvel Comics, Heroes for Hire is exactly what it sounds like: Marvel superheroes selling their heroics as a business service. The first Heroes for Hire team consisted of Luke Cage and Iron Fist working together, but later incarnations of the team included new leader Misty Knight, and members like Colleen Wing, Shang-Chi, and Ant-Man. In the MCU, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) are prime candidates to star the HfH business, and with Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Collen Wing (Jessica Henwick) positioned as big players in their respective series, it’s easy to see it happening.
